Not one, but two, Duolingo events! Junior’s Toy Hunt & Brawl Stars collab
Duolingo’s latest suit event is in full swing, with about 15 days left to run.
Junior’s Toy Hunt is a limited time challenge where you earn pieces of different puzzles to unlock limited edition avatar suits.
Each puzzle requires nine pieces, which you unlock by completing lessons. If you’re extra keen, you can spend gems to bag yourself more pieces. (400 gems for one; 1600 for five).
There are 7 suits for your avatar to get its grubby little hands on, including a piano, a lava lamp, a rubber duck, and some weird cardboard dragon thingy.
And that’s not all… Duolingo x Brawl Stars
And if that wasn’t enough, Duolingo have also teamed up with Brawl Stars to bring you an additional quest, where you can earn gems, chests, and Brawl Stars-specific content.
Just under two weeks left to run in that one.
And if you’ve never heard of Brawl Stars and have absolutely no intention of playing it, worry not: you can still get all the Duolingo-specific unlocks regardless.
How to access the events
Both events should be available on the left-hand side of your path page.
The suit event is automatic and should be available for everyone. The Brawl Stars event, however, requires an opt-in.

I am very sorry, but the ratio of duplicates to new (even limited) tiles in the Toy Hunt is just absurd. Are you trying to demotivate the learners or encourage and reward them?
Please, consider balancing out the number of duplicate vs. new tiles a learner gets. Ty.
Zgadzam się z tym. Bardzo Cieszko zdobyć płytkę, która nie jest duplikatem…
The event is dissapointing. The amount of dublicate tiles is absurd.
Insane amount of duplicates and I dont even have the option to buy them? I have 9 days left and 10 tiles to get. I get one tile a day!
I really wish that the puzzles were optional. I am a serious learner, in my 60s. I don’t need these distractions. I’m all for making learning fun, especially for younger people, but you shouldn’t torture those of us who have no interest in playing games such as these. It really distracts from the experience. I’m tempted to leave Duolingo, because it is so annoying.
Último dia. Fiz todas as lições, mas foram muuuuuuitas peças repetidas. Faltam 5 e não tem como conseguir… pra que vincular as atividades ao desafio se mesmo cumprindo não é possível completar?
